So, until last month, there was a 2K Games studio in Austin–staffed with ex-NCSoft folks–working on MMO version of one of the company’s strategy franchises, probably Civilization.
If you are a publicly traded company and have a studio like this for a year but never care to disclose that sort of expenditure to shareholders, isn’t that sort of, uh, illegal?
