In a not all that surprising move, on the same day as snatching up a lot of domains, Activision filed trademarks for Call of Duty Advanced Warfare, Call of Duty Future Warfare, Call of Duty Secret Warfare, Call of Duty Space Warfare, Future Warfare, Secret Warfare, and Space Warfare.
The company also filed a trademark for Call of Duty pertaining to “providing an on-line computer game.”
